Basically had a fairly well spec'd 1293 turbo engine built by steve (benross) and got all the parts to go with it.

Need to sell it and stripping, it's all brand new and un run.

How much should I strip it do you think. Sell the block as a short block built up?

Just looking for some advice really

Also pricing stuff is going to be tricky as I'm rubbish at it. Don't want to lose my arm but don't want to over price so it doesn't sell.

I'd go gearbox, head, short engine, flywheel/clutch, turbo & manifold, inlet & carb, plenum.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

Well I recommend you break down exactly whats in it first, as your idea of fairly well speced doesnt give a whole lot away...never run can be good and can be bad, some would strip it again to see what is in it, check it all and then put it back together and know they did it and at present its all unknown. I would try to sell it complete, easier! but if going to strip it down its ussually head, gearbox, short engine, or if you want to go further crank rods pistons block selling cam and other bits seperately.. but without know whats in it.....

spec list needed for this i think,
all depends on price as alot of people arent willing to spend top ££ on a non running engine/ rather go direct

saying that im sure you wont have difficulty selling the bits here!

Go on, be brave, put it in the car and tell us how it works.
Pity your bollocks are in line with the flywheel!

I've got few tasty bits I have no doubt about... It was fully built up by Steve ready to drop in and go but never finished build

I'd be interested in the crank if you split it down to that level, dependent on what it is of course.

Yes I wanted to sell it complete but was told to strip as easier to sell and will get more money

Could possibly be interested in it complete.

I'd say put it up an add with what you want for it complete and a spec. If it doesn't sell start splitting it.
