i think the most important things are
to not pressurize it
and to not over heat it
but also dont put it so far down the line it takes a period of time to read out what is going on

so in my opinion id put it in about a foot after the turbo? just my opinion id have the other much more knowledgeable folks on the forum inform you better first tho

I've seen them fitted just before the joint to the exhaust system.

Are you using a gt1752 ot T2?

As the gt1752 exhaust down pipe has the sensor on the elbow after the turbo.

What the mind can conceive the mini can achieve
MITP 2012 17.01 seconds 1/4 mile against "The Don"
MITP 2013 16.83 seconds 1/4 mile

Mine is around 6" from the turbine and has been working great for 3 years now.

Others have also had good results down by the gear selector, so position is not critical.

In the 13's at last!.. Just

should have instructions there. think the instructions with my aem one said about 3 miles from the turbo....

but the boss in just before the downpipe links to the straight through pipe under the car. it works well. its tucked up out of the way.

Do you mean 3 inches from the end of the turbo, before the exhaust link pipe
Has anyone got a photo of it on a Mirage turbo exit pipe

I would not/did not get it too close to the turbo, the manufacturer of mine stated that this can kill the lambda in a short period of time with the excessive heat.

on my t3 its just at the end of the t3 downpipe. so just forward from the gear stick located, as stated under the car

although the aem says to install the bung 36" for a turbo install !! ill be running it at like 6" from the turbine the stainless line feeding the sample chamber will lose quite a bit of heat i think plus ive seen manny people run this way also it will work in nice with my own designed manifold

i think ull be good to put it in some place between the top/bottom of the firewall after the turbo be it before or after the clamp depending in the install

are you running a hif? or efi? if ur doing efi u may want to try get equal afrs? so may need sample chambers? if just a carb and one wide band ignore me...
