Hi Chaps,

While the mini is off the road this winter I want to fit an intercooler and some engine sensors. I've got the sensors covered so now I am after some intercooler advice.

The question we all ask is does size matter*smiley*

I mean the intercooler pipework etc. Not got bags of room to be squeezing it in but at the same time I don't want to fit one and not get the benefits.

Also I have seen some kits come with silicone pipe joiners to make fitting easier and without welding. Is there any draw back in using these?

Cheers Chaps

Mate I think you could put a kit together cheaper, also how much room you got?

I have started posting on Instagram also my name on there is turbomk1golf

Nothing is impossible it just costs more and takes longer.

Biggest you can comfortably fit where you want it. As Benross says, it's not the icing on the cake....It's more cake!!

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...
