Hi All,

I have a 4 Synchro remote box i am rebuilding and have struggled to find a good 2nd gear for it here in Australia, I have found that Guess works have them and also have the FULL rebuild kit in stock too, i have used Minispared parts many times and have never had a problem.
can anyone advise of the quality of parts from Guess Works, its only going under a stock 1100.

thanks Guys.

I used them before with no problem. .. yet that mini only covers about 2500miles a year and doesn't get much hard action. ..

you can do anything if you set your mind to it...
i rather blow it up winning than keep it together losing.

finish date set for project 1... march 2018

John Guess (Guessworks) is a top bloke, you'll have no problems with the stuff you get from him.

As above, Shauna has a guessworks box on her mini which is probably 20-25k maximum miles old and apart from the occasional crunch into reverse it's perfect still.

In fact he seems like a really nice genuine guy. He has actually advised me againt buting his parts when i was going to order the wrong items, others would let you carry on. I didnt realise that mpi and non mpi speedo worm and pinions couldnt be mixed.

Thanks for all the kind words...

Be reassured RED850, any new parts will be branded items or from a traceable source manufacturer.

Second hand parts, I let nothing go out which I'm not prepared to use myself in a customer gearbox, and will be cleaned, checked and oiled before shipping.

I exchanged a final drive with John. The one I received was very clean almost as good as new.
