Hi all,

Went to minispares today and forgot the rubber cone tool I meant to buy.

Is it possible to put the front subbie back together without this tool? I'm thinking no as I struggled this evening without it?

Just trying to save myself a trip back there tomorrow.

Cheers. Dave.

If the subframe is off im sure you could make some sort of heath robinson device with a bit of thredded bar and some washers.

Is there no one local in Jupiter that may have one to borrow

If your fitting Hi-Lo's you should be able to wind them all the way down and get the top arm in, then slide the pin in.

can be done with the subby in situ, but top arm pin access is a PITA if you have inner wings.
