Has anyone got any direct experience of these?

Thinking of the ceramic style coatings to piston tops combustion chamber ports internally/externally cast iron manifold, heat transfer coatings for rad gearbox casing timing cover transfer housing, and oil shedding coatings for inside of block gearbox etc......

Anyone used them in UK, any info semis to be US based.

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

If you are a real petrol head with shed loads of dosh, then go for the parts described, but its not a formula 1 engine or EADS eurofighter engine, IMO I would spend the dosh on components to make more power and reliability, box ATB different forged pistons, crank etc. . . . . .

ive used HPC coating in Aus, for exhaust pipes, intakes etc, also used there coating system on the crown and combustion chamber. it all works fine, but that was for a 800+hp ski boat that was turboed,
coating the exhaust pipes and intake are good idea, it reduces alot of under bonnet temp alot. i think its better than the heat wrap but each to there own, we have also done it for alot of race engines, it keeps the heat in the pipe so it doesnt heat the manifold above it, if the intake sit over the exhaust.
im going to be coating the exhaust and intake on mine as because they sit so close together, i know in Aus its not to dear to get it done but i dont know about the uk.

class limited no crank mods no gearbox mods, heads cant be ported manifolds cant be ported, thinking is the coating will smooth things out a little as well as keep the heat inside..
