hey all finaly finished fitting the turbo engine and painting my clubby so heres a few pics,









the engines basicaly metro turbo but with an old stg 3 howely head, an ultralight flywheel and a s/c gearbox. Cr is about 9 - 1 if my calculations are right and its only running about 6 or 7psi untill i can afford to fit the intercooler and get it on a rolling road.

my only gripe with it is i ran out of time, the engine bay and engine never got the lick of paint they needed but theres always more time for that, and im considering pulling the engine out sometime in the future and fitting a lower compression one i found in the back of my shed. but gonna ask a few Q's about that in the right section when i get round to digging it out anyway hope you like it

lol cheers for the comments, it was either going be cadburys purple or yellow and black because i had a couple of litre's of each in my shed and i think yellow and black just suits a clubby better , its actualy 'bmc highway yellow' its a bit more orange than the pics show.

the arches are normal apart from being cut on the front edge to alow for the 6 x 12's its runing too low to be honest and it does catch every now and again so im gonna raise it to match the back one weekend when i find the time.

the seats are just where they seem to go naturaly lol, pretty low and far back

lol the boot lid is a sore point, the old one was nackered and all i had spare was a fiberglass smoothy one, i tried and tried to make it look alright but i kept getting nasty flat spots in it so i gave up and covered it up with the number plate lol its a bodge but ive got a better normal one now thats gonna go back on again when ive got time, got to replace the steering rack and piss about with my sisters mini next so its just gonna have to wait :S

pissed off now because some bastards dented my roof, nowt bad but its anoying because it shows up with it being black :( when it was that crap burgandy colour no one went near it! soon as i put some effort into getting it looking right and people just cant leave it be.

too right tom, just glad i only spent the one day flatting back and pollishing my roof now and not two! what a waste of time that would have been need a reliable run about now tbh anyway cause ive got a 50 mile round trip to work, so it'll soon be kept in a lockup and come out to play on the weekends. at least it should be a little safer
