hi guys , atm im sourcing parts for an eventual turbo build , and ive got my hand on a plenum , carb and a set of omega 1293 pistons with a 10cc ish . anyway while i run my na engine i thought i would utilise a plenum to make an induction system as the roar of a k&n behind the bulkhead is abit aggravating (also i just fancied messing) now my idea was to replace the gonzo nose on the plenum with a 90ish degree bend to come round the carb and towards the clutch side then i can run a length of boost pipe with a filter on the end . so what is the average boost pipe size people run on there turbo mini ?

No. The "Gonzo nose" is 45mm. Most folk adapt up to 52mm as its more commonly available in silicone and alloy pipes.

If you're trying to use the plenum as some sort of inductin system for an NA engine, don't bother.

In the 13's at last!.. Just

I'm guessing because it has a restrictor ring, so it's probably going to throttle down your inlet size, not a problem on boosted engines as the pressure forces the air through.

ring problems are down to wear or abuse but although annoying it isn't a show stopper
