went for another tune up today with larger injectors, I'm only running 1 bar boost (14 psi) with Benross special head on a 1380 bottom end, Help from Neil fromPolestar with his ecu and specialist components Injection, cossie 4x4 intercooler, the blower comes in nice and early and produced 208 @ 6500 rpm.

Very happy, kept the boost low due to oil getting a bit warm, will improve on this and try for more another time, there was deco more to come from the engine.

16V project underway

Fair one mate, so at 20psi you could be the first 300bhp mini lol.

a single 9 row i think mine is took my temps down from 125-130 to under 95 degC
that was a steady 60mph cruse lol
with the oil cooler fitted i no longer had to worry about cooking my oil on the motorway

Yes i moved to the darkside *happy*

Do you run a straight cut box?

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.
VEMS + 12 PSI + Liquid Intercooler = Small Bore FUN!

Do the lynx rollers measure transmission losses Tim or is it just a best guess at 20%?

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

Awesome result there Tim.

If you copy the IMG code off photobucket and paste it in a trend it should show up without having to click on it.

Remember to delete all the other text apart from the text between the two IMG tags, these need to be left in too.

Just a bit of fun with excel.

What the mind can conceive the mini can achieve
MITP 2012 17.01 seconds 1/4 mile against "The Don"
MITP 2013 16.83 seconds 1/4 mile
