Any one come across one of these before. I thought it was a GT15 but now ive done some digging its actually a tb0237. It has a a/r0.30 turbine housing and a a/r .48 compressor housng. Any good for a 1275 turbo application on a standard boost level? |

It also has BB in at the end of a part number. Does this mean its a Ball Bearing turbo? |

seems to be ,off a ford sierra td 1.8l ,only a 33mm approx. inlet , pretty small i'm afraid . the power range may make it to 130 bhp ish . perhaps a touch more . Medusa + injection = too much torque for the dyno ..https://youtu.be/qg5o0_tJxYM |

Whats the ideal A/R to aim for on a turbo for a 1275? I have one that has an A/R .47 turbine side and .48 compressor. The inlet to that is bigger than the Tb02 but still The T2 family. Out of the two wich would be the better choice? Would a .47 A/R be very late on boost till high engine rpm. |

the turbine a/r is different in its effect from one model to another . so a 47 on a t3 would have a different characteristic to a 47 on a t2 etc .

If you wanted a small responsice turbo the one off of a renault 1149cc turbo (tce 1.2 models) good for 130bhp on the stock Renault engine, lag is not noticeable on my clio Drives
