Hi from Denmark :)

Hi all, new to the site but not to the cars :)

Old engine 1293 SPI with an old Turbo technichs T3 kit, with carb mounted on the side of turbine housing

New engine under assembling: 1293 MPI, with Emerald K6 ECU, cylinderhead still stock :(, custom exhaust manifold, GT-17 turbo, omega pistons, MED ultra light flywheel, MED verto heavy duty (hopefully it works well), transmission stock from old engine.

Ordered a bespoke kit from a shop in the UK, was not happy when it arrived, so had a new exhaust manifold done by a good friend of mine :).

Anyone here who have tried to run with boost, on the stock MPI inlet manifold???

Welcome.

I've just fitted a MPi inlet to a 998 with MS3.

Manifold wise it is good but will not fit with the Metro Turbo exhaust manifold.

The throttle body is poor. Plastic, so may not hold under boost. Plus it is very restrictive and does not open fully.
