doubt its uprated much spring wise, and the paddle plate won't be very nice to live with on the road.

better off building your own RTS,

I used a paddle plate daily with no issues driving wise. Biggest problem is that they don't half wear your flywheel and backplate down.

Although a long time ago. I used a Verto with an AP paddle. No issues with driveability at all.

It was a little sharp, but quite fine.

The thing I found though, is there is a HUGE variation in cover clamping force, with no real way to tell before buying. There is just no consistency at all.

I came across some that wouldnt hold any boost at all, to the one I ended up using for ages which could easily hold in excess of 20psi with no problems.

But as said, the paddles do et teh friction surface of the cover and less so flywheel. I had new friction surfaces riveted into my cover about 3 times at a local clutch specialist.
No idea if such a thing would still be available today. Although I'm sure it could be done
