I'm putting together a homemade arcade cabinet for which I've bought a T moulding to run along the edges of both side panels. These panels are 18mm thick and have some tricky corners etc, so I wouldn't like to attempt it freehand with a Dremal for instance.

Now, does anyone have a slot cutting bit for a router? Size needs to be around 1mm ish.

I believe that I t's like the image below. But I'd also need the piece which connects this to the router.

I'm looking to borrow this as the tool is expensive, especially as this will be the only time I use it.

Thanks for any help in advance.

Would it be possible to post the bit?

Obviously I'd pay for postage costs.

I've looked at the biscuit cutters but as you say, these aren't available this small.

It seems this is one of those tools that isn't needed for much other than what I'm doing, so isn't easy to get hold of.

I might make/modify something, or just freehand it.

http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/161189818859 Say is it still separated? If so why not make a mold that is the size of the foot of your router bigger ( if that makes sence) and use a pin router bit like so you can easily follow the curves no danger of going out the line and cheap to lake a mold out of mdf plate.

Have a look for a mill slitting saw blade. Usually quite cheap, and I'm sure it would be an easy enough job to make some kind of arbor.

might be worth an ask at a local camper van conversion place. Somewhere that builds their own units, pretty sure they have the same type of moulding on the edges so may have the tools to do it for you.

Thanks for the ideas. I've bought a slitting saw for £3. I think I'll lash something together so it fits to the edge of my bench.
