Would anyone be able to post some pics of how the turbo is mounted to the inlet and exhaust manifolds and the down pipe?

And is there any difference between the metro turbo inlet manifold and the manifolds that come with most stage 1 kits?

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

here is some pics
hope this inspires you.

the inlet manifold on the turbo is just SPOT ON!
leyland did there home work on this one

& got things right!

its not to say others will not work! but... this is the one you need

the MG Metro N/A one flows slightley better thanks to fastcarl and turbo dave, having tested these on the flow bench.
but its not the one for the turbo engine as its to do with the fuel distribution etc

some other comments would be welcomed on this subject *happy*

in loughboroug around 6 years ago for 50 quid he said he had this running and removed this because
"he did not like turbo engines"

he said it did 125mph *laughing**laughing**laughing*

YEH!!!!*laughing* when i looked how it was plumbed in it was a joke!
to say the least, he would not have even got it started at all!*laughing**laughing*

no wonder he took it out!*laughing*
i gave him the money and off i drove

i plonked it under the bench with the other dozen i managed to aquire!!*happy* its the best painted there at that time

Any knackered old metro engine will do 125mph (with another 30+mph in reserve) - if it's in the boot (or should that be TRUNK) of one of these things!
