If you have any fillings don't bother. If just get standard mounts (gen if poss) and give the ones with captive nuts a miss!! If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

Solid engine mounts will ruin everything on a road car. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

I had captive ones before, they were so much better than pissing around underneath the car, I'm not sure if they were bought captive or had nuts welded on but they fit beautifully! On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

I have them on mine as I kept tearing the rubber ones in half. They make everything super noisy. Don't think I would want them on a road car. The engine is rock solid though! |

Use quick release mounts on mine with alloy engine steady mounts. Also have this setup on my daily. Increases noise a bit but wouldnt change it |

Already had the quick release ones and found it a nightmare to remove one pin when taking the engine out after 2 years, ended to just unbolting it as per a standard mount.
