Just after some ideas with this one.

I was at 176 bannanas on a Minisport ca2 cam @20psi.

I'm about to whack a phase 2 in so it better top 200 now.

My question is should I fit undercrown jets and what ones do I need if so?

Cheers eden

Yes,

you'll need an M8x1 tap... or just get Uncle Carl to do it for you.

Brilliant, are they easy to get from general motor factors?

And is it just a drill and tap or do I have to get the face machined?

I got mine directly from BMW using the part number, was around £30-40 if I remember correctly!

I would machine the face or else the chances or a seal are slim, you may be able to use a hefty pillar drill for it if you haven't got a mill?

Bimmer ones also have a ball and spring. They're about £30 here.

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

Don't forget to use a turbo pump if you using those, and especially. If your phase 2 is X drilled as well Eden.

The zetec ones also use a ball and spring; pretty much all of them do I believe. The BMW ones are priced a lot higher than most others, but are a little easier to fit. The zetec ones seem to have a very large hole in the tip as well - which I usually crimp slightly. The later zetec with the round body were easier to fit than the older ones.
All said - I will be using the beemer ones on the next block I put together.
