Helping out a friend building a road going 1275 supercharged clubman. He is not technicly minded so didn't want to use a programmable ignition system so after some investigation we decided on a special order dizzy from H&H. Its a suck through system and I'm wondering should the vacumn advance be taken off at the carb or manifold? |

Anywhere between the throttle and intake valve will see vacuum when you need to see vacuum. 9.85 @ 145mph

The location of the takeoff in the carb is right at the butterfly for better idel/low speed pickup. So this still preferable or is it the inlet manifold. Is there any sicence behind the location or what are people doing in practice. |
