Not long ago someone (can't remember who) posted some pictures of their car which included a pair of hydraulic struts/rams fitted to raise their flip front. I've searched hi and o but I can;t for the life of me find the post on here.
What I wanted to know is what car were the strust from? If anyone remembers that would be great

get in touch with a dude called 'VTEC' on minifinity, he's just done it to his van, fully automated flip front. works really well.

I know someone on here did it recently - all I wanted to know was what car did he get the struts from as they seemed to be about the right length
