Hi all,

We've just released our Clubman hinges for pre-order. These allow for a vertical bonnet to aid access and visibility within the engine bay whilst keeping the ease of access of a hinged bonnet.
These are well suited to a turbo engine bay where access down the back of the engine is required (obviously you can get kits that take the bonnet off but that's not always convenient at the side of the road or for just having a quick look).

Please visit our website for more info or see the video on Facebook.

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Expected mid March. Our supplier is making a mild steel batch at the moment so they can create all the jigs etc they need. Then there's a 4 week lead time on the order. Pre-order will be a couple of weeks.

Shropshire.

Look very smart - I expect most have removable bonnets but it's a nice alternative.

I'm interested in a round nose set of these *smiley*

is your layout still as below?
They should work. The only thing you'd need to do is tidy up the fuse box (which I'm guessing will happen anyway). I'll put up some more photos later to show more detail. The Gas spring mounts in the triangular hole in the strut support.

These will hopefully be available around May time. Just have to modify this design to suit.

Have you considered making something suitable for a complete front end ?

The only ones I've ever seen were from the USA and very expensive so I ended up making my own.

Generaly, to get the weight distrubution right, you have to hinge further apart, from the inner wings in my case (and the USA ones) but that's fine as the inner wings are drilled there for the brace bars.

But with a one piece front (whether it be GF, CF, or even steel, having it fold up backwards and completely out of the way is vastly superior to them folding forwards.

Just a thought.

Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ???
