He ive bought a etb digi for my xe conversion which im no longer doing.
So Im thinking of fitting it to my turbo project, I was wondering if anyone had one and if so where have you put the magnet for the speed pick up?
Ive seen people put them on the driveshafts but I was thinking this would be inaccurate due to one wheel spinning faster than the other?? or am I speaking shit and it wont make much difference?

If you're not wheelspinning it should be accurate if you calibrate it correctly, doesn't matter what car you're in, if you're spinning up the speed reading is incorrect, unless the reading is taken from the non drive wheels. Hope that helps somewhat!

Cheers never thought about the back.
I wasn't meaning wheel spinning was thinking more on how the diff works on corners.

Yes, the diff allows the wheel on the inside of a corner to rotate slower than the one on the outside. But unless it's a very tight corner at very high speed, the difference is tiny when it comes to accuracy of overal speed measurement.
Same is true for the rear wheels without a diff, the one on the inside will be slightly slower on a bend/corner.
But I would go for the back, much easier.

I think you can buy an adapter (not from etb) that will screw into the standard speedo drive.
I've got one in my track car but I've not connected the speedo as I'd rather not know how fast im going lol

Ok cool I'll google it. Don't suppose you remember where you got it from?
