Yeah, let someone else eat up the tooling costs, and just buy done that are already available!

Resin infusion? Are you sure?

I really do believe that these kits may be an easy sell, but they won't produce nearly as good results as a second hand vacuum pump, and a low temp resin prepreg.

given the opportunity id like to make some panels via the vacuum method i have the pump just need one of those catch tank thingy to catch the exes resin before it makes its way to the pump.

i was half thinking about making some nice parts to go under the sub frames to aid air flow and crap like that but have been put off by the work involved with building the mold so probably going to come to my sences and use sheet aluminum!

this is the way i have been recommened by easycomposites/carbon mods same company) for getting most strength and lightness for the panels

The key is in the name mate. 'easy'

If you were closer I could show you first hand how much easier/tidier/lighter prepreg is.

Resin infusion is definately better than standard wet lay, as the pressure reduces excess resin, and keeps it all a lot thinner.

Plenty of instructional videos on youtube.

And they really do make it look easy. Dont imagine the reality of a first timer being that easy though !
