Hello chaps,

Just a quick question, I've got a block at the back of the garage that has spun the centre main bearing, there seems to be no obvious signs of damage except for the heat build up from the spun bearing.

Could I have the main caps line bored and salvage the block? I know it's expensive but I'm just thinking weather to weigh it in or keep it for a rainy day, it was given to me anyway so no loss.

Thanks.

Yeah should get away with skimming the caps and line boring. Probably worth fitting a minispares 4 bolt cast centre main cap too.

I was over at Rob walkers today and he was doing exactly this to another block.

Haha, I got into a conversation about k heads. It seems he's seen the light and converted his too.

I handed over my RTS and other bits for him to balance, and he asked me if I got the idea from "that guy near standlake" aka Robert. it sounds like he's a regular with RTS flywheels. Lol

That's good to hear cheers lads.

Decent prices from Rob Walker as well, I was expecting over £200!

I'll keep it as a spare for the spare then *smiley*
