Blanking off recirc valve.

I have a gt2560, albeit with a recirc valve similar to an escort cosworth.







My question is, I know I can blank it off, but how?

Do I make a blanking plate and remove the internals

Or

Blank off the vacuum fitting, leaving the internals in?

Same as the bmw turbos by the looks of it, iirc they can be just blocked iff with a bung, forge do uprated ones that vent to air.
