Hi all,

Looking for a bit of guidance really and a bit of advice, I have acquired a old carb that I thought about modding to go on a soon to be tweaked n/a 998 but I can't seem to make too much sence of the description that is in the vizard bible as I learn better from pictures has anybody played with one of these carbs with and kind of success?

I have done a search but it appears that this question has not been asked yet?

Cheers in advance

Here are a few pictures i have found online that might help, haven't tried it myself so can't comment on the results.

That does seem to make it a bit clearer, looks like I could be getting some stones and maybe having a play. Any ideas on if the piston is worth rounding off the edge?

It was a while ago I found those pictures, but I was under the impression that you shouldn't touch the piston of the bridge at all as it can mess things up, plus at full throttle the piston shouldn't be in the way anyhow.
Also if you trim down the butterfly spindle as shown be sure to use a fairly strong loctite on it as you don't want a bolt getting loose and being sucked in the engine

You'll need to use carbides to cut the ally, stones will just clog.
