Probably domb question but here's the thing. I was placing my mockup engine in the mini and wanted to mach the carb ( n a hiff 44 that wil be modded) to the plenum i got from a member here.. but when i bolt it um to one hole the other side does not match up?

Are sure it's a 44mm carb and not 38mm? On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

Yes at least i was... i need to mesure it on the butterfly side of the carb and it should have 44 mm right? Always presumed it was one since it came of my 1275 mini from 91 and it was sold as a hiff 44... you can do anything if you set your mind to it...

Ah crap. Just noticed.. stupd me. The 38 has the oval flange the 44 more square... they are both 38 you can do anything if you set your mind to it...
