I have found a good sliding sleeve in my parts for SeaHuston, but can't guarantee it came from an A+ as I pulled an A+ apart two transmissions ago... So what is the difference between them or are they the same for A+ / A- ???

yes, sliding sleeve, shift sleeve, synchroniser sleeve, splined sleeve, etc.

Remember, first gear is identical on 4sync A and A+ .

I also didn't know that A+ and A- 4-synchro 1st gears were the same. Reverse gear too?

converting a 4 sync box over at the moment to A+ all the same except 3rd motion shaft (bigger on A+ where it goes inside 4th and different nut size on the other end), 4th (bigger bearing inside it), laygear and layshaft (two bearing on A+ but bigger on the end nearest 1st, 3 bearing on A- but smaller bearing near 1st).

The box was originally A+ but had A- SC gears in it.
