My make has just imported a frogeye in from the us and wants a 1293/1340/1380 built.
1st point who can build an engine and what will it cost?

he wants it to be a fast road engine but drive able

he asked me to see who and what is best

any pointers would be great thanks

You could ask steve (Benross) as he would be my best bet for a complete built engine.

Block is probably comparable, but the main caps, crank and flywheel are different.

Nope. Mr Benross will still have no bother building a RWD engine for him.

fwd engines don't have the seal on the main bearing housing but other than that the blocks are the same I have used moggy blocks in minis and mini blocks in moggys the crank is different aswell

Or some precision brutality
