I've taken apart two heads, one standard 998c head, one 12g295 head.

Yes! as long as the same caps go with the same collets and same valves.

Great! Top caps, collets and valves stay together but springs can change? Sounds good! |

Not all retainers are suited to double springs. Check that as well. On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:
