I've just collated the results of the fastest class-D guys...

MPH at the traps shown in one, Times to the traps shown on the other.

Enjoy!

Help me out here:
D1 MW
D13 Giallofly
D5?
D7?
D9?

Not really, they're available already in excel format on the BMC website - 15 minutes later and we have a few graphs!

The trap times shows just how close the class D racing is - much moreso than any other class!

Looking at the speed graph, you can make quite a few assumptions - mainly because aerodynamics are almost the same for all the minis shown, weight differences between the vehicles is likely to be so small as the rate of acceleration is nothing compared to what it is in the first 1/8th, All vehicles were flat-out, foot to the boards racing
Finally - most importantly - same track (apart from Matt's run; saturday definately had LESS traction).

So:
D7 was either running out of gearing or power as he approached the 1320 compared to D13, D5 and D9.

D13 has ever so slightly more peak power than D5 and D9 (who are almost identical) What was that boost again John? *wink*

But the daddy in the power stakes is really obvious - D1 had tons more bananas than anyone!
