Hi guys
Right my mechanic Nick has come to me with a problem he's been stuck at for a while now.
I'm limited in knowledge but any info that I can pass onto him would be greatly appreciated
This is how he has explained it to me.
It seems the up graded crank pulley. Is a lot deeper. And thus not having enough room on the end to fit the ring in. I don't know if anyone else that you have spoke to has come across this.
The pictures i enclose are. First one with the new crank pulley on, and you'll see no space left between the damper and the mounting bracket. Then the second one with the ring just sat on top to show how much space it still needs. Roughly another 10mm.
I was wondering if you wanted to ask questions. Before we have to start modifying the crank pulley again.

If anyone can enlighten a way around this issue That would be great. Bare with me while I try and work out how to upload pictures on here.
Cheers, Jack

As that is an elegant engineering solution I am forced to agree.

As good as that solution is, it makes it a bastard to replace the fan belt!

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...
