I have some omega cast +60 pistons and I've seen the piston rings on MED website at £105

As long as you can match the rings exactly for size and profile you can fit what you want. Had to do this for my turbo build to fit my oe metro turbo plus 20 pistons. Own the day

I'd just buy the omega ones. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

depending on how old your Omega's are will depend on which rings you buy, they are not all the same dimension.

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be... So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'... On 26th Oct, 2004 Tom Fenton said:

Post a picture up. I found out the hard way that I had the old omega forged pistons, which use the cast ring set.

If anybody wants to be a superstar and point me in the right direction as to what I need that would be awesome.

They look like the wider oil control rings, but as there is inly 0.5 mm difference measure them. From memory the wider ones are 3.5mm. |

Yep they look like the the ones I have now. The oil control ring has tangs on the spring. The newer oil control rings are about 2mm wide and have a different looking oil control ring.
