amazing i know! anyway with everybody raving on about t2 conversions and mirage this and that, why hasn't anybody made a t2 manifold for people who have done the bulkhead mods already as a lot of people seem to be put off by the not ideal flow of the mirage units (although a great product don't get me wrong), there must be more than me who would buy a manifold that had good flow characteristics for the t2 family

Normal manifold and adaptor plate, job done.......

yeah but theres cutting and shutting and welding and crap

has any one got access to a flow bench? i would be interested to see the difference

There isnt any cutting and shutting with an adpator plate. its just a case of bolting it to the manifold, then to the turbo. job done.

The only bit you need to sort is the down pipe out of the turbo, not that tricky id guess.

Nic's car certainly seemed to run well with the mirage manifolds, ill see how well mine goes in a few months all being well.

A flow bench wouldnt be too acurate for power in the case of the mirage kit I think, unless it could accuratly replicate the pulsing created from the 1 3 4 2 firing order.

With the middle exhaust port firing every 180 degrees strait down into the turbo, its got to be creating quite a good pulse for 1 and 4 cylinder gasses to follow strait down.

The two mirage kitted cars that ran at avon - nic got into the 13's and my full weight un intercooled road tired beast got into the 14's.

Cant really argue with that.,..

And like the others say - with a box in place its very easy to make the mettro turbo manifold except a T2. Just get an adapter plate off of Jim

Give us a couple more years
