What's the boost on a standard t2 actuator?

Also I want to set up a switch where I have a metro solenoid valve to a bleed valve. So with the valve closed is boost to what the actuator is set at. and with the valve open it boost to whatever the bleed valve is set to.

Where can I get a metro solenoid? Also how is it wired up?

thanks guys

I found a metro solenoid in the glove box of my old car when I cleared it out. £10 posted if you want it.

They will vary depending on application, and also how much pre-load you apply.

Apply air pressure and see when it starts to crack open

9.85 @ 145mph
202mph standing mile
speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will

What's the best way to test it?

With a foot pump on the nipple. See how much air it takes to move it.

Set it to 1/2 a hole pre-load and drive.

So if you have the Post sticking up, then turn the shaft back so the hole is 1/2 a hole out, then pull it over so then, the actuator is under a small load.

I have started posting on Instagram also my name on there is turbomk1golf

Nothing is impossible it just costs more and takes longer.

Adjust the actuator arm so that it misaligned with the lever by half the width of the hole in the arm. It needs to be adjusted so that it's too short by half a hole, then pulled towards the lever to fit.

In the 13's at last!.. Just

If you want more boost, you can add more pre-load BUT only until a certain point.

Nah was thinking of running a low boost on the actuator then the bleed valve on that's switch for higher boost

Hope this thread is still active, i'm running the standard T2 actuator - which nipple do i use, the one closest to the rod, or the furthest one out.
Thanks
