The boring bloke who runs this place.

The first quali is over and because of the weather we still don't really know where anyone is.

Great job by Ricciardo and the mercedes boys - but I'm also really impressed by Magnussen and Kvyat - impressive jobs by the newbies.

Who's going to win tomorrow, and who will get the championship?

Mercedes will win tomorrow.

Redbull again for the championship.

It seemed to be a good day for the new boys.

Renault looked to have made a jump with their engines aswell.

This is FORD country, on a quiet day you can hear Vauxhalls rusting.

What a crock of shit.....again. I had hoped new regs would spice it up but it was just boring although I had to chuckle when Vettel crossed the line.
I wont be watching

I seriously doubt it!

I think it will be much more fun tomorrow....

Ric, must have a big boost to his confidence, that has to be worth a lot...

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

I have not finished watching practice yet let alone quilifying but i like the changes, i dont think the cars look as bad as people are making out, i dont think the sound of the engines is as bad as people are making out (not saying its good either), the changes mean that its levelled the playing field for the likes of caterham who actually have a chance of getting points as all the cars are now unreliable, finally we may see vettels and redbulls dominance in the sport wither away i think to have seen another vettel/redbull whitewash would have been much more boring.

I must admit the only thing I don't like is hearing the tyres screech on lockup, it just sounds a bit Micky Mouse.

The engines sound good to me.

i went ot F1 on saturday, the engine sound is so quite now, no need for ear plugs, our V8 supercars are the same noise level. i miss that high pitch scream. you can hear when the underbody runs on the ripple strip and the tyres screech under braking.
besides that i hope the races are closer this year.

everybody likes free stuff

I was expecting a lot more chaos during the race really. I hope the new engines sound better in real life than they do on tv.

I enjoyed it. Shame about RIC - deserved the podium as he drove really well imho.

Ricciardo deserves the podium, I too love to see Red bull loose but only when it is driven by a German dick with ears!!!!. Go Ricciardo!!!!!

I have a Mini again & a collection of Turbo bits, what to do???

Just finished watching the highlights on iPlayer; the race was fairly average considering all the new tech that was involved, it needed the rain to spice it up a bit *smiley*

Shitter to hear about Ricciardo being turned away for the podium, he did really well in the race.

I like Daniel Ricciardo it is too bad he got disqualified his team is to blame for that 100%. Instead of arguing about the FIA fuel sensor during the race the team should have made adjustments.

Douchebag Vettel got a warm Aussie reception :p

Well...Redbull's court case didn't go to plan did it? Hopefully more good races like Malaysia will keep Bernie & Luca quiet!Shame Stefano is out of his job though. Obviously Luca has taken a leaf out of Dennis book when he gave Martin the push out of McLaren.

I can't see that happening. They already got replacement. Ross Brawn is good friends with Schumacher. If he doesn't pull through I can't see Ross ever coming back to formula one to be honest.
