Was thinking about removing my rear valance too save weight anyone know the exact weight saved? Also is the valance structural? Cheers lee more speed 1293 turbo mini-180bhp 171tourque@15psi

Not got a weight. Al long as you remove the valance and closers you should be fine |

There is a website with the weights of virtually all parts, maybe some one can remember it I lost it when my laptop died Yes i moved to the darkside |

I've got a fibreglass (genuine...) one on mine. Was noticeably lighter. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

You can get fibreglass ones from arc angel ,it don't say the exact weight of the valance on there? more speed 1293 turbo mini-180bhp 171tourque@15psi

mini is just bolted on with the 3 bolts of the rear bumper... its easy when i take the bumper of i can take the valance of to clean the whole thing underneath

I think the closing panels are considered structural and as such the valance would be as well.
