Could be the actuator set up wrong, which would explain the low boost, but higher boost with bleed valve.

Also if its smoking from being rich it must be really rich, have you ever had it set up on a rolling road, or do you have access to a lambda sensor? Also, what fuel pump are you running? as jake says firstley and please give us some info on the engine in question age milage is it 30 years old etc new build or modded ? how did the engine develop this ? etc etc

It's a new build 1293 turbo t3 running on mega jolt and an intercooler. Bleed valve in line but not in use. Not had the carb set up. However my next I tensions are to hand it over to a rolling road to get it set up.

As Stevie says if the breathers are spewing oil then the engine is in poor health and probably that is why it is smoking. |

If it's a new build and you haven't had it set up properly, it could be that the over fueling has caused the bores to glaze up before the rings properly seated, meaning you get lots of blow by and smoke out the exhaust. I had the same symptoms on a fresh 998 build, and I'm pretty sure that was the cause.

I've got it booked in for rolling road next week I was just curious on the possible causes of this. Hope I haven't gotta rebuild it again Spose will have to wait and see :/

You would be well saving your money on having someone competent inspect it before booking RR time.

The company is aware of the problems I've got and recommended to me by a classic motorsport racing team. The are booked in to sort the carb out and/or any other issues I might have. They can also do mega jolt which is a bonus. |

i suspect you have run this engine hard and not set up at all hence your piston ring lands have craped out on one or more cylinders, with the story above, i would advise you to check your compression on all cylinders to comfirm this, also to save you time and money on the rollers
