I know that a dump valve can be drilled and fitted to plenum but can it also be fitted on one of the intercooler pipes? As I have brought an escort rs turbo series 2 intercooler and the hoses include a fitting for dump valve . Could I connect these hoses on and then join on to extended them to them plenum and t2 turbo I have or do I need to buy new hoses and et one of the alloy inline dump valve fittings . Sam |

It can fit anywhere between the carb and turbo BUT is best fitted as close to the carb as possible. What the mind can conceive the mini can achieve

Ok cheers for that you don't know by any chance the size hoses into the t2 turbo and the Metro plenum and do you need a reducer at all . |

Metro plenum doesn't have a take off for a dump valve. Anyone who has one had had it custom made mate. BHP sells engines, but Torque wins races! |

Is yours a standard metro plenum? With the standard ones the inlet points straight down towards the turbo making it difficult to get to an intercooler.

The sizes on mine are 60mm for the inlet and 53mm for the outlet. I don't know what the plenum size is though, so I don't know about reducers etc. http://www.turbominis.co.uk/forums/index.p...tid=469104&fr=0 |
