Before rebuilding my engine and gearbox I decided to check how bad my motormania torque wrench was.
Put it on the gauge at work and its perfect all the way up to 150 lbs.
Absolute result.

Not saying it's good. As Steve says. Not been used much and always looked after by winding the spring down. Just lucky I think.

My last cheap one was givving about 35ftlbs whenset to 55 and a bit.. maybe the torque wrench was the reason my first 1293turbo engine used to do more head gaskets than miles per gallon
