How come everyone makes 4 pots in alloy but not two pots?

I also noticed that Mini Sport are the only people making alloy S style drive flanges.

Can anyone shed some light on the matter?

cheers,

Brett

Why would you want 2 pots when 4pots are available for pennies... at the end of the day 4 pots sell and good for minisport, I still wouldnt buy from them

Shropshire.

Specialist Components have just made a mono block alloy 4 pot calliper. That looks a lot better than the mini sport ones on offer.

I would like 2 pot alloy callipers. Really I have no need for 4 pots so could possibly lose a little weight

I seriously doubt it!

There are some ally 2 pot calipers about, they were for race cars and are very similar if not identical to S calipers, might have been formular junior related... there was som info on the Mk1 performance forum
