Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

Dont think there is a way round it to be honest...

If you find out a way though id be interested as my monthly call costs on the landline are £2 tops and thats only to get a bit of use from it!! then £11 rental...

I went with BT broadband and landline as i couldnt get cable. Its fast and reliable. Not the cheapest but there you go *smiley*

Ring your local cable company....

they do broad band without a phone... but it depends if they will provide the serivce to your flat.

People who use wireless equipment for their broadband often don't bother to find out how to make it secure (Iain? *tongue*) . That means anyone with a computer that has a wireless network adapter can use the connection to surf.

Strictly speaking it's not legal :) I read recently that terrorists deliberately leave their wireless networks unsecure so they can claim anyone could've used it if they get caught.

If you live near an internet cafe/starbucks/whatever you'd need to be careful of wireless devices that are trying to get you to connect so they can grab personal details from your PC. These are offered as a free connection, but are often people sitting in the cafe with a laptop in a bag pretending to be a wireless broadband connection.

It's a long shot to be honest, but you never know...
