Recently started practising with my mig got it about right just wanted opinion on my welds if they are right . Picture link shows how I started with max 1 power and blew through metal , then set on min 2 power and is about right with 6 wire speed . Do they seem right or is there adjusting to do . https://m.flickr.com/#/photos/88561210@N05/13576118084/

metal needs to be cleaner and a little more gas too. all the welds have contamination or bubbles in them . im self taught tho so cant offer "proper" advice

As said above, cleaner metal, more gas (doesnt look like you have any tbh), and steady your trigger hand with the other. Keep practicing a lot before you weld a car

I seriously doubt it!

Thanks seem to be having a problem with building up weld I have checked a bleed valve on the gas bottle and pressure comes out . Could this be the wrong gas or too old as I came with the welder before I brought it . The gas bottle is a sealey co2 gas

Ideally you want argon/CO2 mix. Try more pressure rather than more flow then gradually turn up the flow

I seriously doubt it!

I get the impression he's on disposable bottles which will only have a flow valve rather than a pressure reg

Will the gas bottle still have pressure even when empty, as I think the bottles I have are empty as the welds keep going flat and not build and blowing holes . Will pick up a new one tomorrow .

you can hear it as it comes out before you strike, which you wont know to hear if you have never heard it when its right! make a shield around what your welding but be careful its doesnt catch fire, welding a small repair outside on a windy day a corner of a cardboard box held up wind is useful, did that a few times racing when it was blowing a gale trying to do repairs...

As shown I. The picture can you only create small welds on mini car panels as it just blows holes it's an old a panel only about 1 thick . My welder just won't set right , brought a new bottle of gas today . Just won't build up without blowing even on lowest setting .
