I have installed a new locktab on the first motion shaft.
BHP sells engines, but Torque wins races! |

Sharp chisel between the two and give it a tap just to pull it away then get a set of mole grips on it to fold it over |

The OEM ones are a pain minispares do a thinner one now as standard and its easy just bending it over with a screw driver, and their not expensive under 3 ponds

Gday mate, piss the lock tab off and use loctite. tab washers are made of soft tin and will compress over time. leaving the gear and bearing loose on the 1st motion shaft. We have not use one in 25 years.(race or road) Cheers Ben. Old Car Gearboxes Australia. |
