Hi all,
I have been playing around with my remote reservoir Wilwood master cylinders for a few hours this week, thinking of the best way to mount them. I know alot of people use them, Matty, Nic, MikeRace, Paul ect and I know that the pushrod needs to be cut down, and or tapping further up the pushrod to screw the clevis on further.
I also know that alot of racers/miglias use a spacer in between the M/C plate and the MC to raise it up so that there is not so much compression and clearance issues with the rubber boot.
This week I have CAD'ed up some spacers, and will be getting them CNC'd next week. My only question is, obviously by using a spacer, the standard studs that hold the M/C and plate to the bulkhead are too short. Does anyone know if the Miglias or racers knock out the standard studs and then replace with longer ones or even with longer nuts and bolts?

Many thanks,

I have replaced the standard studs on mine as they were fooked, really easy job if you can weld.

Grind off the back where they are spot welded on the weld the new ones in.

Thanks Kean. Might just weld in some longer studs then.
