Hi all I have a mate that is after mk1/2 wheel boxes and the tube that joins them together.


Or alternatively a complete setup so that he can swap them over.

Are they a normal rack but narrower? I might have one kicking around I'm not sure, I'll have a dig in the garage tomorrow

I think they have less teeth mate than the mk3 onwards.

I guess if we got the complete mk3 onwards kit we could just swap it all over?

The wipers are closer together on mk1 so the middle tube is shorter - a later one can be shortened and re flared. The wheelboxes are different - the cog is a different size

I seriously doubt it!

The scuttle nut on the early one is 6 sided and 1/2UNF. The later one is 8 sided and metric, around 14mm.
