At what power levels do the 165s really start to struggle to get the power to the ground? How much does the atb diff help? |

Yoko don't make a 165/70/10 A048.

There's the A008, the A032-R, But then I have Falken Fk07e's and liked those in the dry, but ive driven the a032rs in a 14" size on a Honda and the grip was superb, both not great in the wet though. On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

I've got Falkens on a couple of my cars at the moment and they are bloody scary.

My tyres are quite old but haven't seen 1500 miles probably, might be why they're okay! On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

Sorry. I did mean a032r. Got tyres confused with a mates project. I've used a008 before and they stuck in a corner like baby shit to a blanket. Never got to test them with a half decent level of power though. |

Dont get confused here, not all A032R's are the same, they come in different compounds, as do the A048R's ![]() Let me understand this a little better...... Falken's with a wet grip rating of 'E' you find similar in the wet compared to the Yokohama A032R which has to be comparable to the A048R's wet grip rating of 'A'............................. How does that work? ![]() ![]() On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:
Is it A-Series only? I think it should be... So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'... On 26th Oct, 2004 Tom Fenton said:

I'm not sure, but my experience of them is that they were both appalling in the wet, the A032's were far better in the dry though. Edited by Carlzilla on 27th Apr, 2014. On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:
