I've got a fully rebuilt gearbox to sell with everything new used to rebuild. It's got a evolution gear set And x pin diff. All parts were new and it's ready to go.

What I want to know is how much it's worth and how much I should be asking, they vary so much on forums, eBay etc.

i bought mine from oli with 5000 miles on. Rebuilt s/c c/r clubman gears, x pin diff, 2.9 for £500 if i remember correctly. I know its not a value for yours, but may give you an idea of how to price yours.

That helps... I've seen new ones go fro as high as 900-1000 which is too much... I was thinking 700

Who built it? Do you know which bearings and baulk rings have been used? Do you have receipts for the parts used.

Might know someone who could be interested if the specs are right.

£700 is a good price is everything is genuine and A1 condition. I believe brett sold his lightly used one for £600.

Benross built it when he done my engine... He used everything from minispares I believe. Was built onto engine when benross did it but I've split and sold everything apart fro,mine complete box with 0miles on it.

Ask for £700 then
