I've got a wheel bearing issue on the front end. Just wondering what people think are the better one to but, the tapered or the old school race type?
13.95 1/4 mile on a 2.95 fd. Carnt be that hard to beat! |

Just play that didn't go with new tapered bearings. Been lurking for a while now 13.95 1/4 mile on a 2.95 fd. Carnt be that hard to beat! |

The bit of the flange that sits against the bearing can wear and the not torque up properly. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

as mentioned above, the drive flange can screw up causing play and I've also seen corresponding damage on the CV joint as well. Seats can also 'stretch'. |
