Hi all,

my metro turbo manifold has been ported a little too much and i now have F all manifold thickness where it meets the head and i keep getting air leaks at the bottom area of the port as there is little area being pressed on the head surface.

does anyone know if the minispares torque master manifold is same dimensions as the metro turbo unit or any other manifolds that come close?

i am running an intercooler so i might need to make some small changes but if i have to then so be it.

thanks guys

What ex manifold are you using ? A lot of inlets won't clear the standard Metro ex mani.

Also, the standard Metro Turbo inlet has a lot thicker flanges than any "standard" inlet because the metro turbo exhaust flanges are thicker.

You can get around this using stepped washers (provided it fits in the first place as per Phil's comment) but stepped washers are very fiddly to fit and may be another cause of leaks if they aren't machined accurately.
