340mm of Teflon round bar for making gudgeon pin buttons. Used to prevent floating pins from gouging the bores. Not every application require this, as floating pin pistons these days have pretty good circlip retention. If like me however you use floating pin little end con rods with press fit pin pistons, there are no circlips, and the Teflon is tequired to stop the pins damaging the bore.

the round bar itself can be purchased very easily. Ive purchased some previously from IIRC a vendor on Ebay called performance plastics. RS are likely stock it too.

I haven't got a lathe so not sure how I'd make them. What size is the hole Inn the end of the gudgeon pin? I forgot to make a note of it when I left the barn earlier My build thread..

I've found it ok once you find the sweet spot with speed and feed.
