Anybody watch it this week?
'64 cooper... Looked a good resto, I thought.

I enjoyed the show, makes me miss having a mini on the road.

What are peoples thoughts?

The Black Countraaaaay

Supposedly unmolested but it had seatbelts, 70's dunlop alloys and a few other things that weren't standard. Would have been good if the resto was back to standard. Notice the cheapo exhaust manifold as well tut tut *wink*

was quite a nice watch, think they may have been intentionally vague on the details to keep it interesting to the masses and avoid the nit-picking. will need to check out the others in the series!

I thought that too, they didn't do much on the restoration side of things either

Swansea boyo!

I was gutted they didn't show more of the restoration, I noticed the inner sill an the back of the floor was crumbling but they only really showed rebuilding the engine a little :(. 9.5k was a bit steep!

They don't die, they just get faster!

leeds/wakefield.

They cannot shoe much resto because they won't be doing it, it will have been shipped out off to a proper shop somewhere and all edited together to make the program,

Lancashire

Just watched it last night, quite interesting but would of been better if they showed more of the resto and less about the history.

What the mind can conceive the mini can achieve
MITP 2012 17.01 seconds 1/4 mile against "The Don"
MITP 2013 16.83 seconds 1/4 mile

I have seen that car and it is not good.

Bootlid hits the body and is chipping paint off and no seal on it anyway. Bonnet to wing joints are all over the place and under neath ..........
